Postponement of A Night at the Carnival, CNIB signature gala

We at the CNIB Foundation have been actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are using direction provided by the Ministry of Health to guide our decisions on how best to protect the health and safety of our community.

Out of an abundance of caution for the wellbeing of our staff and ticket holders, we have made the decision to postpone our signature gala, A Night at the Carnival, set to take place on March 26, 2020, until further notice. Please accept our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are hopeful to reschedule this event for a later date. However, because of the uncertainty around health regulations at this time, we aren't able to confirm when or if the event will be rescheduled.

Your support is still greatly needed

Because we have been forced to postpone this event, the need for support is now greater than ever. We rely on funds raised from our events to continue providing vital programs to people with sight loss across Canada.

To that end, we are hopeful that ticket holders will be prepared to keep their tickets until the next event takes place, or accept a tax receipt for the price of their ticket(s), sponsorship, and/or the in-kind donation they've made to the CNIB Foundation for this event.

We will ensure periodic communication in the days and weeks to come. In the meantime, please accept our deepest thanks for your patience and understanding.

Thank you,
Samah Chowdhury & the CNIB Foundation team
